Michael Donaldson

Michael Donaldson is an accomplished Electrical Fitter Mechanic and Electrical Engineer whose career began in a small mining town in Central Queensland. Starting as a machinery operator in the mining industry, quickly transitioned back into the electrical trade, navigating the challenges of career progression to ultimately become an Electrical Engineering Manager. Driven by a passion for innovation and leadership, Michael founded his own engineering company, which has thrived for over 18 years. His entrepreneurial spirit has since led to the creation of eight additional companies, each achieving success both within Australia and internationally. His latest venture, Roar Training, was born from a desire to give back — providing pathways for upskilling, mentorship, and professional development. Through Roar Training, Michael is committed to guiding the next generation of tradespeople, engineers, and industry leaders, helping them build sustainable careers and businesses of their own.
